Sun Stok’d, a 40-foot powerboat, captured the best overall award at the 46th Annual Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade Saturday, December 13th.

As the “best overall” winner, Sun Stok’d, with the Stoky, Bellows and Condran families, won a trip for two via Southwest Airlines to Fort Lauderdale, Florida next year to judge the Winterfest Boat Parade.

The theme of the parade, which had 43 boats entered this year, was “Santa Claus is Coming to Town.” The grand marshal of the parade was Santa, who was on board Chelsea II.

Voo Doo Doll, a 35-foot sailboat of the Women’s Sailing Association, won the best sail award and the Owen Churchill, a 40-foot powerboat of the California Yacht Club Juniors, earned the best power award at the parade.

The other award winners in each category are:

— Best Charter: La Pinta, 32-foot powerboat;

— Best Yacht Club: Sea Dragon, 48-foot sailboat;

— Best Individual: Valhalla, 32-foot powerboat;

— Best Organization: Relentless, 42-foot sailboat;

— Best Theme: Kilgore, 50-foot powerboat;

— Best Music: Le Compromis, 60-foot powerboat;

— Best Lights: Miss Christi, 45-foot powerboat;

— Best Animation: Defiance, 56-foot sailboat;

— Best Spirit: Cabo Reina, 22-foot sailboat; and

— Best Live Band: Dude, 50-foot powerboat.
