Santa Monica police were called to the 2100 block of Oak Street in Santa Monica at 6:04 a.m. Saturday, July 10th, regarding a 911 call reporting an intruder in a residence.

The resident who made the 911 call said someone had entered her house and attempted to sexually assault her, but that she was able to get away and dial 911.

The intruder fled before police arrived, the victim said.

The intruder is described as a white male in his late 20s, five-feet-11, 170 to 180 pounds, and last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt.
