Longtime Westchester resident and World War II veteran Richard Nathan Troxel passed away August 2nd. He was 81.
Troxel, who lived in Westchester for 52 years, worked as a maintenance mechanic at Chromizing Company for 23 years. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Troxel attended meetings of the Pacific Art Guild with his late wife Jan, who was a member of the organization.
Troxel is survived by his children, Janna Barnhart of Whittier and Charles Troxel of Mohave Valley, Arizona, and grandchildren, Kirsten Garcia and Erik Barnhart.
A memorial service is scheduled at the Barnhart home in Whittier Saturday, September 20th.
